Back from Bespoked
Here at Frame Cycles the dust is finally beginning to settle after a hectic run up and aftermath to Bespoked 2022.
As our first trade show, it was our first chance to show people the FR-1 bike saddle in person and get some face-to-face feedback from frame builders and cycling enthusiasts. Thank you to everyone who came to visit our stand.

We were blown away by the range and quality of bicycles and bicycle accessories on display. Some of our highlights from the show included Sturdy Cycles, Clandestine, Bamboo Bicycle Club, Silva Cycles, Môn Cycles, Huhn Cycles and Onguza Bicycles - made in Namibia. We can vouch for the quality of Namibian mechanics, as one came to our rescue in the desert a few years ago.
Back in 2018 we spent a month roof camping in Namibia. At a camp site in Sossusvlei, in the middle of the desert, we mistakenly broke the hinges of our fold out roof tent, and spent an uncomfortable night sleeping in the car. We were amazed to find the next day that in a small village of barely 100 people there was a welder accomplished enough to repair the hinges as good as new.

We are grateful to everyone for their kind words and feedback regarding the FR-1 saddle, especially to those people who signed up to beta test the first 25 pieces. We are excited to see what feedback from the wider cycling community can bring.

If you couldn't make it to Bespoked, but are desperate to try one of our products, please do get in touch and we'll see what we can do. We hope to have a full production of saddles ready in early 2023, so everyone will get one in time!
